Britney Spears 2007 hit single "Piece of Me" is rewritten as a frisky yet scathing accounting of the artist's struggle to succeed in an art-world obsessed with celebrity, commerce, and power. The experimental music video, shot with spy cameras and vintage TV sets, is an homage to Joan Jonas's 1972 analog video masterpiece, "Vertical Roll."
